Nah, Jose was the second man in the triangle, played the good friend who wanted more role in the first book, came with minority race. Jacob - Native American, Jose - Hispanic (I think). The pyschotic boss was James from Twilight, the vampire that stalked her and wanted to kill her to enrage Christian/Edward.
