on the new Kindles, there is a Goodreads "g" right on the tool bar across the top, where the home and search icon's are. I don't think that you can connect via just the Kindle App itself.
Once you connect the Kindle to Goodreads, when you finish the book you can set the star raiding and write a review. That review will go onto Amazon's site but you can share it on Goodreads, as well as FB and Twitter
