Which series are you talking about vampire or fantasy?.
Vampire I suppose, the genre lines sometimes confuse me. In my mind fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal are all pretty much the same thing with different details or mythologies. I like them all but I tend to read fantasy by chance but I actually search out the others.
