I'm tired of hearing people shouting about OSC being a "bigot" and "right-wing" in his writing. Either a) you haven't read actually read the Ender books or b) your preconceived notions are overpowering everything else that is actually in the writing. So really though if you don't like it, fine then don't read it dude.
Interesting comment, and it may not be far from the truth. I read OSC when I was a teenager and was, for the most part, clueless about any underlying messages that 'might' be coming through so enjoyed 'Speaker for the Dead' just for the good story that it was.
