C. G. Telcontar So you didn't like Brienne's quest, or Arya's story line?

Brooklyn Ann Actually I loved both of those and wish the book had more of those storylines, which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1. Also, I appreciated Martin's skill in making me start giving a damn about Jaime.

C. G. Telcontar Jaime's storyline grew to be one of my favorites. I knew it was coming, the bad boy to misunderstood anti hero motif, but Martin pulled it off well enough for me to cheer Jaime on.

Brooklyn Ann Oh, I agree!I never would have imagined that I'd be rooting for him. I really hope his arc progresses in book 6. ::Googles gossip on release date::

C. G. Telcontar My gut feeling is that if Martin is truly intent on getting this done in seven books rather than 9, he's going to have spill rivers of blood in the next volume. I personally hope Jaime is one of the survivors.

Brooklyn Ann Surprisingly, me too. Some are speculaing that Jaime might be the one to kill Cersei. I have mixed feelings about that, but I must admit that it would indeed be interesting.

C. G. Telcontar I hadn't thought of that. I was thinking Jaime might have to figure out how to kill the Frankenstein, what's his name, Robert Strong?

Brooklyn Ann I can't remember either. I last read the series 2 years ago and I'm on my reread and just finished book 3. ` Ooh, speaking of "Frankenstein" I wonder if he could get a new hand by stealing a Wight's? I doubt GRRM would go that route, but it might be possible. :D
