Not going to lie....I definitely had to put this book down two or three times to reassure myself nothing was going to grab me from inside my couch!
i know right same here. it was really spooky.
I've only seen "Pet Semetary" when I was younger and that scene with the little boy (already supposedly dead) running toward his parent, crying out "Mommy mommy mommy!" scared me. I have yet to read the book but I liked the movie.
As for "The Shining", I have both read the book and watched the movie. I liked the book version a lot better.
I haven't actually read PS either (although it is on my to-read shelf!), but I did see the movie. It really didn't do much for me. I've read and seen the Shining, and, while the movie didn't scare me too much, I have never read a more terrifying book.
