Great comments, Rachel! And there is, indeed, some biological evidence as to why Judaism could be considered a 'race' just like Caucasian, etc. Here is an acticle if anyone cares to read

I agree that if something 'bothers' me, usually I need to do more research into that topic.
Ha ha! Hitler actually made people in Germany get their family trees traced to make sure there was absolutely NO Judaism in their backgrounds!

I agree with what you said. The only thing that still riles me a bit is when people only go to mass on Easter or Christmas but then when asked, say "oh, yes I'm Catholic". They are NOT. They visit a Catholic church once or twice a year - but religion is (or should be) a way of life for it's followers. Not just a twice a year thing.
