Cece :) oh of course I'm not using goodreads for homework!!:) I've read the book for school a couple years ago and completed all the work that accompanies :) haha but my favourite symbolism in the book is Mayella's red geraniums that she keeps very clean and grows in the front of her house. I love how cleverly they symbolise her cry for help from her poor home atmosphere... similar to her trying to have romance with Tom Robinson, the geraniums show that even she, a poor, abused girl, wants a little bit of prettiness and freshness in her life :)
