Must say that in a way I think Bilbo has more to say about the human condition than Frodo. Frodo is an impossible icon to follow. Bilbo is one of us, flaws an all. Yet when it was darkest and he felt like giving up, he went on ahead anyway.

You hit it right on the head as for why I love Frodo so much. His selflessness and his willingness to hand over his future for everyone else I find inspiring, even as I know I could never do what he did.
