It may be comfortable for you to call us "Third World", but don't fool yourself thinking that it's all right to do it and that you don't diminish or offend anyone by doing it. The fact that many people use it doesn't mean it's valid, the same as any slur that you may also feel comfortable using against any kind of people or population.
