I like Dark Places and Sharp Objects better than I liked Gone Girl. But they're both a lot darker and I especially feel for the characters in Dark Places.
I liked it. I love thrillers with a bit of psychology thrown in. Personality disorders are especially sweet. I felt the author did well presenting a brilliant sociopath. I love Amy, she was ...well..amazing
