True, I went of True Blood after the first two series...
the TV series is premiering in the US August 9 on STARZ...DG has been heavily involved in the TV show and the producer's wife is a huge fan and has basically threatened producer with the couch if he screws it up
wow, Dee that's great. I'm really excited then, I hope it doesn't take too long to get to the UK. I know True Blood didn't work for me there is always a hope that this one will be as great as I hope. The problem with adaptations is that we all have our own ideas what characters will be like, how it all looks and they cant always satisfy us all. I was really disappointed with the Time Travellers Wife and PS I love you but the Harry Potters were really good because they stuck to the story very closely .....It's taken DG decades to get to this point I hope it works out. Thanks for the update Dee and lets hope it great :)
i don't know if they have annouced the UK yet, but i know its starting in Australia and Canada maybe a week after the US - if you google Sam Heuglan (spelling) you can see the guy playing jamie

So you lucky ladies, has the US been graced by Jamie? And how is it? No sign of it here :( in the UK.

True Blood was good for as long as they stayed true to the books. Once they stopped the series bombed. I don't want that to happen again.
