Shahid Mehmood I agree with you, but the analogy of recipe to a film production of a book is not quite close. I would say watching a film made on a book could be quite an exhilarating experience on its own, but it nevertheless is the tale told by someone else, like someone demonstrating through enactment about what actually happened.

Shahid Mehmood What would it be like for you reading a 500 pages classic, I wonder. lol

Trixie Actually I read so many books with well over 500 pages - I did classics at school so tend to read more modern stuff now, or non-fiction in a wide variety of subjects. I get your point though - it made me smile. Yeah, I was in a bit of a rush and misinterpreted what you were saying ;)
