Chris describes herself as a compulsive story-teller, cat slave and hen keeper. Originally from the UK, she now resides in the Western Cape of South Africa.

Her latest novel, Spirit of the Shell Man, is the sequel to Song of the Sea Goddess.
Both are available in paperback, on Kindle and as Audiobooks. Also on Kindle Unlimited.

The red-headed writer (aka la Raconteuse) was more than relieved, she had sat down at the pleasant table not far from the bar and by Frank, the tall, thin man and Lou, and all of them were talking about various things, including that strange voice which no one could see.

But la Raconteuse was already rather restless since she had not been able to write for far too long

An excellent book of poems, and I enjoyed every one of these. I very much liked lingering with each stanza, as the pages moved on from boyhood to middle-age. There was love, lust, hurt, disappointment and sorrow, almost an echo which lingered again.
