Slate

Slate Kilmer has studied religion with his mentor, Darius, since he was brought to the orphanage at six. At twenty, and wrapped up in his studies, he barely notices Violette. But when an unseen force takes control of him and gives Violette attention he has no choice but to become very aware of her.
