A very shy half-mulatto young woman of great wealth visiting Sanditon from The Camberwell Seminary, she is under the careful watch of Mrs. Griffiths (along with the two Beaufort sisters). She is very weak-bodied, suffering from frequent migraines and easily exhausted.
