Dacibrega is a gender-switching metal mage from Amanor. His people, the Kiedra, were intending to sacrifice him on his 20th birthday, but he was kidnapped by Bethel Masiona and Saruza Starsinger and has been resentful ever since. He is the first of the post-Ganebran Emergents, arch-mages who change to a new form when their talents become fully realized.
