Fictional character, part of the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The First Evil is a unique entity predating man and demon, apparently the personification of the concept of evil itself, manifested from all evil in existence. It is an incorporeal presence that can assume the form of any person who has died, including vampires and people who have been resurrected. Its true appearance, is in the form of a large bestial demon.
