Magnus Hirschfeld
German physician and sexologist, who targeted by the German Nazi regime for being both Jewish and gay and on top of that founding and running the “Institut für Sexualwissenschaft” (“Institute of Sex Research”) until the nazis destroyed it in 1933. Hirschfeld fled Germany and lived in exile in France until his death in 1935.
