Raethen

Raethen is an elf from the land of Dath'erim, one of several lands that the elves of Alatheia call home. He is 500 years old and rides an elven horse called Baldir who has been his companion for life. The elves of Dath'erim raise a special breed of horses that bond with their riders for life.
Raethen's first introduction to the group is beneath the Baur Mountains and this is Eran's first impression of the elf:
'Raethen looked like he had no age. His skin was pale but not white. It shimmered slightly as it caught the light from flaming torches, and appeared to be the youthful skin of a young man not yet twenty, but his blue eyes were old.
