Second wife of the Reverend John Williams. They married in September 1707 and had four children: Abigail (who married Mehuman Hinsdale), John, Eiliakim, and Elijah.
John's daughter, Eunice Williams, refused to visit Deerfield until after John's death. She believed that he was partly responsible for the death of her mother, Eunice Mather Williams, and could not forgive the fact that he remarried, even though htat was extremely common at the time.…more
