Jane Rice
Lady Jane Artereta Rice, née McIntosh, is a daughter of Colonel Alexander Henry McIntosh. She grew up on a farm in Fife, worked at Capital Radio in London and now manages the Dundonnell estate in Wester Ross, Scotland.
In 1969 she narried the English producer and agent Michael Whitehall. The couple divorced in 1973. In 1974, she married the English lyricist Sir Tim Rice.
In 2004, Lady Jane initiated the programme to reintroduce red squirrels to the woodland on the Dundonnell estate, releases being undertaken in 2009.
