Edward R. Murrow (The Cooperman Variations)
A real person. 1908-1965. An American journalist and war correspondent. He worked for CBS on radio and TV. In 1953 / 54 he contributed to the downfall of Senator Joseph McCarthy and his witch hunt against possible communists in Washington and Hollywood.
