David Rae

David Rae (b. 1995) is a Scottish artist. He was raised in the south-west of Scotland and studied painting at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen from 2013 to 2017. After his Degree Show he was selected for the 2018 Royal Scottish Academy New Contemporaries where he won the Walter Scott and the David and June Gordon memorial trust awards. In 2024 he was shortlisted for the Gilchrist Fisher Award for artists exploring the theme of landscape.…more
