Gordon Bryce
Gordon Bryce (b. 1943) is a Scottish painter. He studied at Edinburgh College of Art, where his tutors, Sir Robert Philipsonans Sir William Gillies instlled in him a love of texture and colour which has remained integral to his practice.
After graduating, Bryce moved to Grays School of Art in Aberdeen, where he was appointed as lecturer in Printmaking. He later serves as Head of Fine Art from 1986 to 1995, before retiring to concentrate on painting full time.
