Robert Galloway
Robert Galloway (1752 - 1794) was a Scottish shoemaker, bookseller and poet resident in Glasgow. His Poems, Epistles and Songs, Chiefly in the Scottish Dialect were printed at his own expense by William Bell in 1788. His poem 'Glasgow Fair' is inspired by Robert Fergusson's 'Hallow-Fair'.…more
