Agnes Syme Lister
Agnes Syme Lister (1834 - 1893) was a scientist and botanist, who was the wife of and assistant to her husband, Joseph Lister. A botanical collector in her own right, she collaborated with Lister on many of his experiments, including the dosage of chloroform.
