Lutz Bachmann
Lutz Bachmann (born January 26, 1973 in Dresden) is a German political activist. He is considered the initiator of the openly racist and Islamophobic organization Pegida and is the chairman of Pegida .
He has been convicted of various crimes (including burglary, drug trafficking, bodily harm), in some cases repeatedly, and since 2016 also for sedition.
