Ruby Elzy
Ruby Elzy (February 20, 1908 – June 26, 1943) was a pioneer American operatic soprano.
She attended the prestigious Julliard School, appeared on Broadway and in films, and even sang for Eleanor Roosevelt at the White House.
She was married twice, once to actor Jack Carr.
She died in 1943, after undergoing a surgical operation for what had been thought to be a minor condition.
