Sir James MacGregor, Dean of Lismore
James MacGregor (Gaelic: Seumas MacGriogair) (c. 1480 - 1551) was vicar of Fortingall and titular Dean of Lismore Cathedral. He is credited with compiling The Book of the Dean of Lismore (Leabhar Deathan Lios Mòir), an important 16th Century Scottish manuscript in Gaelic, Scots and Latin.
