‘Fish Wally’

Nicknamed “Fish Wally” by the English who cannot pronounce his surname. A civil engineer in Poland before the Nazis invaded; fought with the Polish Resistance after. Forced to flee, he crossed the frozen Baltic Sea to via Finland; his hands are now so badly frostbitten he cannot work. Reduced to selling fake ration books made by his cousin “Cash Wally”. Instead of arresting Fish Wally, Stilton offers to pay him for information. Lives in “Polish London”, aka Putney.
