“Não faz mal termos medo, é sinal de que pensámos sobre o assunto e que não é uma tarefa fácil ou pode até correr mal. Mas é ao ultrapassarmos os nossos medos que vamos ser realmente valentes.”
Catilina Moreira, E se eu cair?

“Às vezes acontecem coisas que não queremos. Mas temos de aprender com essas coisas também.”
Catilina Moreira, E se eu cair?

“It is difficult to imagine people lining up at airport bookstores to buy a book that enthusiastically describes the practices of business leaders who, on average, do somewhat better than chance. Consumers have a hunger for a clear message about the determinants of success and failure in business, and they need stories that offer a sense of understanding, however illusory.”
Daniel Kahneman, Thinking, Fast and Slow

“The most effortful forms of slow thinking are those that require you to think fast.”
Daniel Kahneman, Thinking, Fast and Slow

“Who ARE You?”
This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly,
“I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.”
Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

“Instinct—When the house is on fire one forgets even the dinner—Yes, but one recovers it from among the ashes.”
Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil

“They keep making the same mistake: predicting rare events from weak evidence. When the evidence is weak, one should stick with the base rates.”
Daniel Kahneman, Thinking, Fast and Slow
