"I am so mad people have been flooding this book with one star reviews, often not even having read the book, solely because the author did not read the odyssey, which is not nearly as abhorrent as you all thinking it's an easy read one casually enjoys. It's a tough read most people struggle through and do not finish. You can still do research beyond reading the source material of which you're adapting one tiny aspect." — May 15, 2023 12:51PM

“In a way, it's easier to imagine the world's going to end. At least there's a certainty to it. End—bam—done. But change—where does change stop?”

“Armageddon was a fire in the harbor, a box delivered on a cold day. It wasn't one great tragedy, but ten million tiny ones, and everyone faced theirs alone.”
