Initially, his amateur writing career started with writing random free form poetry, music reviews, and video game reviews on Epinions.com. Eventually, some of his works were selected for online publication on sites such as Honeysoul.com, Poetsink.com, and thetruthmagazine.com in 2006.

At age 31, he has begun to hone his poetry and writing craft by joining writing communities such as Writerscafe.org , Poetryblogrankings.com, Poetrywithmeaning.com, AuthorNation.com, and Soultry.net. His freelance writing career has also accelerated with his works now being featured on Soultracks.com, Blogcritics.org, and Heed Magazine (where he is the Gaming Editor).
