At far too young an age, Brad developed a love for political satire and became an avid fan of the Doonesbury comic strip. He spent years taking art classes and designing his own strips before realizing he enjoyed writing the stories more than the visual art. His thoughts turned to being a writer someday.

The earliest adult novels he devoured were science fiction until he started reading mysteries. He was hooked. Authors Lawrence Block, Sue Grafton, Gregory Mcdonald and Robert B. Parker, had strong influences on him.

He was thrilled when he discovered LGBTQ mysteries are a thing, and the list of authors who inspired him to write in the subgenre are too numerous to mention. He published his first novel in 2019.

Hello, I am crazy about both of your books. I'd like to know if there'll be more Mitch in the future. Do you have plans for my favourite P.I ? They are awesome.

It sounds like you love Mitch as much as I do. Yes, another Mitch O'Reilly novel has already been started. The working title is "A Body, a Bear, and a Blade," and I'm having great fun writing it. I learned not to promise dates after the last one was delayed but I don't expect you'll have to wait over a year again.

Thank you asking.(less)

The primary one I'm focusing on now is the second Mitch O'Reilly series novel, titled "A Body on the Hill." The story takes place a short time after the first novel but will be written so it can be a standalone. I plan to release it this Fall 2019.

The other book I'm working on is a suspense/thriller standalone novel titled "Trafficked." It's about a man who leaves his good life in Tucson to search the dark streets and dirty alleys of Hollywood searching for his missing nephew. I hope to have this out by the end of 2019. (less)
