I checked this book out on Overdrive through my library - I did not realize this was a spin off of the Prey series until I read some reviews , do I have to read the other series first?

Ken Fox No, not at all. This one uses Virgil Flowers as the main character. I enjoy Virgil at the protagonist in these books, I think you will, too.

Anyone who has read the Prey series as well as the Virgil series have an opinion on if it's "better" to read the two series separately or in tandem? I'm reading through the Prey series and Virgil was just introduced in the last one (Invisible Prey) and I'm wondering if I should read Dark of the Moon and then return back to the Prey series (and continue back and forth when appropriate). Thanks!
