Just found this book and got a nice HC copy from the library. Never knew it existed. I had heard that John Carpenter (Halloween) was set to make a movie called this circa 1980, which never got off the ground, but did not know the concept came from this book. Does anyone know of any other novels of the era which deal with atomic energy and nuclear catastrophe? I bet there can't be but a handful... THX!
