Pressia turns 16 at the beginning of Pure.

Partridge is 17/18 during the series. (In Pure, it is said that "his seventeenth birthday was almost ten months ago".)

Bradwell is also 17/18. (In Pure: "Bradwell is almost eighteen".)

Cap is 19 and Helmud is 17. (In Pure: "Helmud is only seventeen, two years younger than El Capitan.")

I don't recall there being an explicit mention of Lyda's age, but she's most likely around Partridge's age, possibly younger (?), so around 16/18.

Iralene looks like she's 16 but she's really at least 24 (or would be at least 24, if not for that whole time freeze stuff).(less)

The first time I remember mention of the piano was in the second book when Iralene revealed that she couldn't really play the piano to Partridge which lead to him discovering he was living in a false world thanks to the orb. I think it also represents beauty in darkness, its often mentioned as a juxtaposition to something horrible in the scene. Hope that answers your question. :) (less)

Maybe he is more on Iralene's side - I guess he has known her much longer after all. Maybe he wanted Partridge to fall for Iralene so kept Lyda's letters away? I do think he is a good guy though.(less)
Adriana yes and no, His focus shifts as he has to choose sides
