Hi .... I have a 14 year old niece. She loves elephants. I had this book on my reading list for a bit and I'm wondering if it would be a good read for a young girl. Thoughts? and thank you!

It was written before animal "ESP" (for lack of a better term) was proven (by Rupert Sheldrake in "Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home: And Other Unexplained Powers of Animals") and is commonly known by many working within the animal kingdom.
I would highly recommend "The Elephant Whisperer" by Lawrence Anthony (ALL his books are incredible) and the book i mentioned above, of course.(less)
