Does anyone know the lexile score for this book? Daughter wants to read for book report.

H…moreI'm afraid I don't know the lexile score for it, though I do think that if your daughter is 14/15 she probably wouldn't have any trouble reading it. However, I do want to mention that there are some things that might concern you. First, there is a healthy sprinkling of curse words. There are also some sexual jokes/dirty jokes. The main character - who just turned 17 - has sex with her boyfriend - of less than a week - who is 24. It is not a fade to black scene, but also more 'romance' than 'erotica'. Finally, there is some violence in the book, talk of mental illness and talk of ritual-like suicide. I did like the book, but thought these might be things you'd like to know. :)(less)
