The Crimson Petal and The White will forever be the book that broke my heart. I loved the characters, the story, the imagery, and then it just ended. I felt lost. I have never forgiven this book for being so good with such a vague ending. Now I happened to look up the book and find out about The Apple. Should I read these stories? Will I be heartbroken again or will I find resolution?
