Is this a good series to read? It looks like a child's book. I am a big reader and I don't know if I should read this and waste my time.

It reads somewhat like Beedle the Bard, in which we learn about life when magic, meant to settle the score, turns things upside-down. Think of it as a folk tale or a fable.
But unless you're a fan of kid-lit, you might indeed feel a little cheated. (less)
