I'm not a purist type, I always prefer English dub, but in this case, I totally enjoyed it. To answer your question, the Swedish movie is closer to the book than the unnecessary American version. And I would say the same about Dragon Tattoo--stupid American filmmakers. Why do studios do that? (less)

Didn't finish it. Loved the Swedish film version (the pedophilia was implied, not graphic like the book).(less)
