Is this book deeply religious? I am looking for something much like this, but I do not like how many self-help books dead end at God's love. I just read Love Warrior, which I enjoyed to an extent, but it always seemed to refer back to God while I am in need of a real solution. Will this book still be helpful to a non-believer? Does anyone have any reading suggestions that could be helpful? Thank you!!

Don't let them block your view of God.
God is love, is very real, and you can lean into him for love and comfort when every human being you know has let you down.
Lean into him like a little child who finally makes it to the one who will clean them up, kiss their boo-boo, feed them, and give them a safe place to rest. Anything that tells you this isn't true, challenge it.(less)
