"Onan spilled it on the ground (so the lord killed him too)"
Er, Judahs firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD slew him. Gen 38:7
"So Judah told Er's brother, Onan, to have sex with his dead brothers wife."
Judah said unto Onan, go in unto thy brothers wife. Gen 38:8
"And Onan "when in unto" her alright, but in the process he spilled it on the ground."
Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he when in unto his brothers wife, that he spilled it on the ground"
Gen 38:9
