Why don't more people read Ward Moore's "Bring the Jubilee"? It seems to be well written and a sort of an interesting idea, but, yet provocative.

I think the Lost Cause myth is like "The South will rise again!" or something? if that is the case, yes that is the Lost Cause myth, I don't think this book promotes that idea, but is a cautionary tale, in a SF alternative reality way, as it were. I think that is where Phil Dick got his idea for the Hugo winning award book "The Man in the High Castle". An alternative SF history where the Axis won.
