My mom had this book and loved it. How old are these Little Golden books and are they hard to find?

Personally, I like the older ones, and not the ones with stories by Disney, Muppets, etc. Some of my favorite illustrators are Margaret Wise Brown and Patricia Scarry. The thing about Golden Books is that the covers stay the same, so you can't date them by the cover. You can't get much sweeter than an older Golden Book. I have seen Golden Books sell for $4 and $5 at antique malls.(less)
