I am anxious about reading this book after reading Atomised ,only recently. The latter started of as an engaging critique of Western society but had yes, bucketfuls of male masturbation and that pervasive voice of the misanthropic writer. It was clever,perceptive but ultimately depressing.Should I endure this again in the name of edgy literature?

Love the narrative of this book. How well he observes people n things. I can relate to everythin 100%. But afraid that I am missing out on the book´s message on a deeper level. I dont understand all paragraphs and what the writer´s intention is. Should I stop reading or take it for what it is? (I am reading this book in my 2nd language)

Platform, on the other hand, gives its focus of the child reared without having a relationship and bond to one's father.

They are sort of twins of spirit in terms of their deeper messaging. I would say that if you can relate to everything 100% you should just soak in his book's readability.

The message isn't so much what he hopes one to focus on, he more describes the world as it has arrived to us. At least that's how I see it.
