However, you probably will want to read A Thousand Days in Venice first, as this sets the foundation for A Thousand Days in Tuscany and The Lady in the Palazzo. That summer in Sicily and Antonia and Her Daughters could be read as stand alone stories, but they are better if you have read her other books first. They all are amazing reads!(less)
