I read Langer's translation of Language and Myth and really enjoyed it, but it's looking like (from some of the feedback) this series is hard to appreciate without a pretty serious understanding of Kant's Critiques. So far the Wendel introduction is enjoyable, and the promise of this being "The Golden Bough" of philosophical works entices me. Will I still enjoy this not having read Kant?
